Paul E Paul - Biography

Paul E Paul, a UK recording artist, producer and DJ with a global fanbase and a host of UK support from big radio names such as DJ EZ.

Growing up in Berkshire, Paul E Paul was drawn to music from an early age, and at 13 saved up enough money to purchase his first set of Pioneer turntables. With a growing passion for music and vinyl, Paul E Paul entertained everyone who would listen, impressing them with his unique mix of RnB, Dance beats, House & Garage, Drum n Bass, Reggae and Bhangra.

Smaller gigs progressed to larger ones and his first break came when he was asked to perform at an event for his local record store.

Catching the eyes and ears of local promoters and scouts, Paul E Paul was whisked away on a club tour. He went on to gain further success when the lead DJ was unable to perform one night and Paul E Paul stepped up and took his place. After a night that was a runaway success he was picked up by another scout and went onto to create a global presence, performing across the world including gigs in the UK, Dubai, USA, Canada and India.

Following a successful DJ tour, Paul E Paul now started to re-focus on his own writing/performing and producing. As before, success quickly followed and in 2007, one of his tracks was used for a US commercial, aired on MTV. Roll on to 2009 and the BBC requested one of his songs to be played across a selection of their channels, including the MOBO Awards show.

Fast forward to 2010 and Paul E Paul has won critical acclaim for his new song 'Girl In The Club' from top UK talent: DJ EZ, Jez Welham, Manny Norte and MTV's Melvin. Paul E Paul performs all of the vocals on the track, releasing October 2010.
